What we collect

When you apply or sign in, we collect:

Your email address (for sign-in and notifications)
The username you choose
Anything you add to your profile: display name, bio, location, gender, avatar, contact details, links, and the art disciplines you select
The posts you make: text, images, event details, and links
The application note you write when applying

We don't run analytics scripts, ad pixels, or third-party trackers.

How we use it

To run the site: show your profile and posts, send you sign-in links, review your application.
To contact you about your account or applications.
To stop spam and abuse.

We don't sell or share your information with advertisers.

Who can see what

Public: your profile (username, display name, bio, avatar, location, categories, links) and any public posts. Anyone on the internet can read these.
Members only: posts you mark as members-only. Visible to other approved members of the collective.
Admins only: your email address and application note.

Your work stays yours

You keep full copyright and every other right in everything you post — artwork, photos, writing, all of it. We don't claim ownership of any of it.

By posting, you grant us only the minimum permission we need to host and display your work on the site. That permission ends when you delete the post, or when your account is removed.

You're responsible for only posting work you have the right to share.

Third parties we use

Supabase — stores the database, your authentication record, and uploaded images. Bound by their own privacy policy.
Vercel — hosts the site and serves pages. May log basic request data (IP, user agent) for short periods.
Resend — sends the sign-in and notification emails.

Data retention

Posts: automatically archived 90 days after they're created and removed from all public views. Archived posts stay in the database until an admin purges them. You can also delete a specific post anytime from your dashboard.
Accounts: kept until you ask us to delete them. When we delete an account, we also remove all of your posts, uploaded files, and your application record.

Cookies

We use one kind of cookie: a sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in. No marketing or tracking cookies.

Your choices

Edit or remove any part of your profile or posts from your dashboard.
Sign out at any time.
Ask us to delete your account and everything attached to it — email us and we will.

Children

The site isn't aimed at people under 13. If you're a parent or guardian and believe your child has signed up, contact us and we'll remove the account.

Changes

If we make a meaningful change to this page, we'll update the date at the top and, for material changes, send a note by email.
